Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is she heavyset, thin, short, rangy?

Short and stocky, for the most part. If she lived an active lifestyle, she could end up fairly strong, but being the couch potato she is, she has very little muscle mass. Curvy and squishy, but actually has a pretty balanced figure, isn't really top or bottom heavy

2. How old is she?

7, almost 8 sweeps, which basically translates to about 16 years old.

3. Describe her posture. Does she carry herself well or does she slouch?

Slouching all day erryday.

4. How is her health? Is she fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?

She's not sick and doesn't have any disabilities, but her poor diet and inactive lifestyle probably takes a toll on her health. Add that on to being basically as far down on the hemospectrum as you can get, and chances are she'll probably die on the earlier side of her 12 to 15 sweep life expectancy.

5. How does she move? Is she clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?

Slowly, basically. And deliberately. If she's gonna get up, it's gonna be for a reason.

6. How attractive is this character physically? How does she perceive herself in the mirror?

She's not ugly, but I wouldn't call her pretty either. She can be cute, especially when she smiles. When she looks in the mirror, she doesn't really give a shit about how she looks. The only reason she takes care in cutting her bangs is because it's easy to do and she gets bored.

7. Describe her complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred?

Grey, like most trolls hahaha. But her complexion is pretty clear and unmarked.

8. Describe her hair: color, texture, style.

Her hair is mostly straight, though it has a bit of a curl to it that mostly just makes it not lie flat. In particular there are two locks of hair on the top of her head that stick straight up. She cuts it herself, and has no patience for most of it, since she can't see the back of her head. Normally she just gathers it up into a ponytail on one side of her head and then chops it off, leaving her with an extremely asymmetrical cut with it longer on one side than the other. She cuts her bangs more neatly though and aims for a v-shape over her forehead and longer locks that frame her face.

9. What color are her eyes?

They were grey for a long time, like most trolls, but they've started to fill in with her blood color recently, mostly because she ages a bit faster due to her short lifespan.

10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features?

Her horns. They are somewhat shaped like her lusus's ears and come to very rounded points, unlike most trolls who's horns are sharper. They're not short though, as they extend about 8 inches or so out from her head. When she's older, they'll probably get to be almost two feet long.

11. What are her chief tension centers?

Ok I honestly don't really know what this means.

12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does she have six of the same suit?

Pretty much hoodies, leggings and flats. Sometimes she wears a bra under her hoodie, sometimes she doesn't because she is lazy. Her hoodies pretty much all have front pouches. She prefers capri leggings and ballet flats.

13. Do her clothes fit well? Does she seem comfortable in them?

Her hoodies are loose as fuck. She doesn't really care about looking good so she tends to go for oversized clothing, which oftentimes hide her curves to a certain degree. Her leggings fit only in the sense that they are not too tight and seriously how loose can leggings even be. Her shoes do tend to fit pretty well though, because there's nothing more annoying than ill fitting shoes.

14. Does she dress the same on the job as she does in her free time? If not, what are the differences?

Man, what job. The idea that Mandya would ever be able to hold down a job that involved any particular clothing in any universe is totally laughable.

15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando?

Usually just boring panties, but if she doesn't have any clean ones she'll go commando because again, she don't even care.


Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse?

Fairly deep but still feminine. Maybe a little scratchy at times.

2. How does she normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does she talk easily, or does she hesitate?

She talks fast and pretty evenly but often with odd pauses in the middle of her sentences. There's usually very little variation in her tone unless she gets upset or happy about something.

3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics?

She says 's' sounds with a distinct buzz and her k's and c's are pretty hard and pronounced. Sometimes her words will run into each other.

4. What language/s does she speak, and with how much fluency?

Man, what do trolls even speak. Alternian? English? Who fucking knows. Whatever it is, she only speaks one language.

5. Does she switch languages or dialects in certain situations?

Not really, she doesn't even drop her quirk when she's upset. This is mostly because her quirk is pretty much second nature for her at this point.

6. Is she a good impromptu speaker, or does she have to think about her words?

She really rarely thinks about her words, usually she just says what she thinks.

7. Is she eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change?

Her vocabulary is fairly limited, but she can express herself and her ideas just fine. She does get kind of annoyed if people use a word she doesn't know, though.



Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is she book-smart or street-smart?

Street-smart, definitely. She only has one book in her hive, and it's an old dictionary that belonged to the previous occupant. Pretty much everything she knows she's learned from her lusus, television and from talking to people on the internet.

2. Does she think on her feet, or does she need time to deliberate?

Normally she just rolls with whatever is thrown at her, but if something hits one of her issues she needs some time to get herself together. Usually she just withdraws and tries to calm down and figure out what to say to hide that she was even having an issue in the first place.

3. Describe the character's thought process. Is she more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical?

I guess...... intuitive and practical? She doesn't spend a lot of time thinking about the hows or whys, just does what she thinks is best.

4. What kind of education has the character had?

I'm really not sure what schoolfeeding entails, but maybe that was a thing? I dunno, if it's something you have to go to then no, but if it's something that's done at home it was probably a thing. Otherwise, pretty much no formal education, not even from her lusus really, since she's pretty much always busy fighting things.

5. What are her areas of expertise? What, if anything, is she interested in learning more about?

I guess her areas of expertise are reality shows and …...... being a lie detector? She's not really interested in learning much about anything, but she does wanna watch more tv and talk to more people to understand even more how to figure out what they think and if she can mess with them. Small, terrible goals.

6. Is she an introvert or an extrovert?

A little of both? She doesn't really get out much, but that's because she lives in the middle of nowhere where everyone else she knew of has died. But she does spend a lot of time talking to people online, so she clearly does want contact.

7. Describe the character's temperament. Is she even-tempered or does she have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven?

She's pretty even-tempered on purpose, due to repressing most of her more extreme emotions. She's laid-back to a fault and pretty much makes no attempts to better herself ever.

8. How does she respond to new people or situations? Is she suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic?

She can actually be fairly hostile if it's a situation she doesn't understand. She doesn't like being caught off guard or not being in control of her life. Once she calms down though, she can be surprisingly determined in trying to figure out what is the deal with whatever this new situation or person is. Eventually though she'll run out of steam and just give in and accept it.

9. Is she more likely to act, or to react?

This really depends on the situation, but usually probably react.

10. Which is her default: fight or flight?

Take a third option: roll over and wait for death. BUT ASSUMING THAT'S NOT A THING I CAN DO definitely flight. She really sucks at fighting.

11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does she appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks?

She appreciates humor as long as it's not based in lies. Like, she likes funny turns of phrase, jokes, funny what ifs, things like that. She does NOT like pranks or humorous deceptions.

12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does she deal with them?

Um....... hm. She has a lot of issues, that's for sure, but nothing that you like...... take medication for or anything like that.

13. What moments in this character's life have defined her as a person?

Being lied to for the first time, realizing her ability, waking up on Derse and immediately forcing herself to try and sleep again to the point where she deluded herself into believing it never happened.

14. What does she fear?

Not a whole lot, honestly. Most common fears have no grip on her. But she IS sort of afraid of her feelings or of others having feelings for her.

15. What are her hopes or aspirations?

She......... doesn't really have any. She pretty much figures it's likely she'll be dead in five sweeps, maximum, so she hasn't made any future plans.

16. What is something she doesn't want anyone to find out about her?

She's not consciously keeping any secrets and is pretty much totally honest about everything. Subconsciously there's a lot she wouldn't want coming to light, mostly because then she'd have to deal with it and realize her own delusions.


Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with her parents.

She is INCREDIBLY dependent on her lusus. Basically there is no way she would have survived this long without her. And her lusus dotes on her and spoils her terribly, helping her to get anything and everything she wants. Mandya tends to downplay how much she depends and cares about her lusus and basically acts like an ungrateful piece of shit most of the time, but she would totally lose her mind if she lost her lusus.

2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like?

Trolls, yo.

3. Are there other blood relatives to whom she is close? Are there ones she can't stand?

Mandya adamantly maintains that she doesn't consider anyone a friend, because if they're her friend then that means she cares about them. But the people she talks to the most are probably Eighis and Bharal.

There are other people she talks to pretty frequently who probably like her just fine and/or tolerate her, like Nikkal and Komesh, but again, the no friend thing remains.

7. Does she make friends easily, or does she have trouble getting along with people?

She makes acquaintances easily and is usually pretty good at being abrasive enough to not really be liked, but not so terrible that they won't talk to her. She's actually surprisingly good with people, for her purposes! If she wanted to, she could probably be a lot more manipulative with people and widen her social circle, but all she really wants is to mess with people.

8. Which does she consider more important: family or friends?

…...... I guess family? Since she'd be dead without her lusus and all. It's pretty tricky though.

Single as a shoe on the side of the road. That's what happens when no one in a 200 mile radius lives around you.

Noooooooooooope.

MAN SHE CAN BARELY HANDLE THE IDEA THAT SOMEONE COULD CARE ABOUT HER, HOW THE FUCK IS SHE GONNA HAVE A CRUSH.

That said, she thinks troll Jerry Springer is the coolest.

She doesn't. At least, not yet. Once she gets over her issues that might change.

The only moral code she has is her vow never to lie and her own inherent sense of morality. The lying thing is a direct result of her lie detecting ability and her distaste for liars resulting in her stance of never lying. Her own morality is basically just....... stuff that makes her feel bad. Like she won't make fun of certain things, like Zurahe or Komesh's injuries. That's just low.

4. How does she regard beliefs that differ from hers? Is she tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent?

Pretty intolerant, honestly, but not that vocal about it since she doesn't really care that much. She'll probably just tell you she thinks you're dumb and that'll be the end of it.

5. What prejudices does she hold? Are they irrational or does she have a good reason for them?

She does have a bit of prejudice against highbloods, but its not insurmountable. It's mostly a result of highbloods being dicks to her or other lowbloods she knows, so basically she figures unless they're actively pretty ok, just fuck 'em.



Daily Life
1. What is the character's financial situation? Is she rich, poor, comfortable, in debt?

Poor as fuck. Her hive is like, one room and an ablution chamber. It comes from living in a lowblood deathtrap, I guess. I'm not sure where she gets the money to pay for her food, but then the economy on Alternia is not ever really explained, so.

2. What is her social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected her?

Her social status is pretty damn low. Being a rustblood means she's at the bottom of the hemospectrum, so yeah. It's been like this her whole life.

3. Where does she live? House, apartment, trailer? Is her home her castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does she share it with others?

She lives in the middle of the Alternian outback, which is something like 200 miles of largely uninhabitable desert populated only by poisonous murderbeasts and the hapless lowbloods that make their hives there. Pretty much everyone else she's ever known who lived out here has gotten killed in some way. Mandya only survives due to the small river than runs by her hive and her giant lusus who kills any beast that threatens to harm her.

4. Besides the basic necessities, what does she spend her money on?

Not much, really. She mostly just buys junk food. Everything else she gets, she scavenges.

5. What does she do for a living? Is she good at it? Does she enjoy it, or would she rather be doing something else?

I guess scavenging abandoned hives counts. Basically, every now and then when she feels like it, she gets in her lusus's pouch and they head out to an abandoned hive and Mandya takes whatever she feels like. Her hive is full of a lot of random junk because of this.

6. What are her interests or hobbies? How does she spend her free time?

Pretty much her main hobbies are watching terrible tv and being dicks to people on the internet. She's kind of horrible.

Her diet is pretty terrible, it's mostly composed of prepackaged junk food of various kinds, soda and sometimes just water when she feels sick.
